How we Treat

Every patient will have a custom plan of care that will include specific treatment, with the collaboration of the patient, to met the patient's goals.
How we Treat

Manual Therapy
Are techniques with the usage of the therapist hands to help improve the patients joint range of motion, joint mobility, soft tissue health and reduce tissue tension, and minimize pain.

Range of Motion
Joints need compression and movement for overall muscles and function.

Joint Mobilization
Mobilization to a joint helps increase your range of motion, improve blood flow and nutrients to painful or damaged joints. Joints benefit from mobilization.
Joint Manipulation
It is a high velocity thrust

Soft Tissue Mobilization
Scar tissue adhesion from an overuse injury or post surgical procedure. Myofascial release, manual trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and an instrument-assisted soft tissue massage are options used for soft tissue mobilization.

Myofascial Decompression
Cupping uses the suction to raise and separate soft tissues to reduce pain, improve mobility, promote healing, increase blood flow, release tissue tension and increase range of motion.
Therapeutic Exercise
Exercises will be used to increase strength, stability and endurance with the supervision of a skilled Physical Therapist. Exercises will be prescribed specific to the patients status and goals to helps reduce pain, increase stability and maximized performance.
Exercise is needed for the body's health. There are many great benefits to move. It allows tissues, organs, tendons and ligaments to have an increase in blood flow, helps healing, improves strength, and increases overall wellness.

Dry Needling & Electrical Stimulation
This treatment uses sterile non-medicated needles by a trained Physical Therapist. A needle is inserted through the skin into the tissues and muscles. Not to be confused with Acupuncture, this technique does not use meridians.
Reasons to use TDN are listed but not limited to; reduce pain, decrease muscle tension and spasms, increase joint mobility, increase joint mobility, increase blood flow and reset adaptive shortened muscles.

Neuromuscular Re-Education/Balance
It is being the connection of the brain, nerves and muscles to restore normal and efficient movement patterns after injury, surgery or with neurological diseases.

Gait Training/Running Analysis
Gait training improves the patient's walking pattern and mobility with or without an assistive device and with the appropriate assistance to maintain safety. It focuses on improving endurance, strength, balance, coordination, body alignment in a safe manner. Running Analysis looks at a patients running mechanics and movement patterns relative to the patient's, pain. It provides feedback on the patient's form and an opportunity to make meaningful modification.

Therapeutic Activities
Bowel and Bladder habits will be taught and based on your age or the patients age specific normal values will be shared.
